Ninh Binh - Cuc Phuong Biking Exploration

Overview

Hoa Binh and Ninh Binh are two destination of Vietnam tours most beautiful provinces which are located between the Red River Delta and Hoang Lien range. The range of limestone mountain of Tam coc is widely known as Halong Bay-on-land. The routes are the most spectacular scenery through many villages and ranges of Karst-formation rocks. This tour help tourists see the most beautiful landscape of Red River Delta, visiting the rice fields and some terraced fields, visit hot spring center, via Kenh Ga area to visit Van Trinh cave, Hoa Lu which are very famous in Viet Nam tours, stop and overnight in Tam Coc.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Tam coc – Hoa Lu – Cuc Phuong National Park ( Lunch, Dinner )
08.00 am Drive to Tam Coc, take a rowing boat trip to explore the life-style and culture of local people en-route. Then return to the dock and have lunch. After lunch, continue cycling into the labyrinth of Karsts, through many villages to Hoa Lu. Visit King Dinh and King Le’s Temples. Then keep cycling to Cuc Phuong National Park. Stops at BaiDinh Pagoda, KenhGa Floating Village and its Church, Van Trinh Cave, Suon Bo Pass-way up hill to Cuc Phuong National Park Center.Overnight in Cuc Phuong National Park.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park - Hanoi ( Breakfast, Lunch )
08.00 am Cycling into the park, visit Ancient Man Cave. Continue cycling to the Park Center, start trekking through the jungle. On the way, visit the biggest tree in Viet Nam named “Tro Chi”. Return to the Park Center to have lunch. In the afternoon, visit Endanger Private Rescue Langur Center. Drive back to Ha Noi.

Require a reasonable level of fitness. This trip involve up to 8 hours of activity in a day. 50km flat routes per day.
The Bicycles
For this trip we use the Trek 5.7 and Trek 500 performance bicycles made by Thai Lan. The bicycles have 24 speeds and a lightweight steel alloy frame designed for road cycling. Other features include LRS (Low Ratio Suspension) and excellent damping capacity, both of which help to absorb vibration and shocks for a smoother, more comfortable and enjoyable ride. The bicycles are available in a number of sizes and will be adjusted to individual heights.
