Northern Mountains To Ninh Binh Cycling

Overview

This is an intermediate cycling tour of Vietnam tours in Northern Vietnam, with about 200 km a good road. Visitors will have an experience spectacular and scenic view of the rice paddies, mountains, rivers, valleys and a couple a highlights such as the ride through the Cuc Phuong National Park, the home stay at traditional house on stilts in Thai village.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau (150km)
Leave Hanoi on support vehicle, drive to Hoa Binh for the starting point. This really depends on how fit you are so we can choose the best terrain that suite you, 20 km before Hoa Binh town, and 50 km before Mai Chau valley (this is a mountain challenge). Overnight in Thai's house on stilts.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Cuc Phuong National park (120 km) ( Breakfast, Lunch )
Brekker and ride about 20 km small trails around Thai and Muong villages. Lunch break in Mai Chau. In afternoon, transfer to Lac Son, cycling 40 km to Cuc Phuong National Park. Overnight in Cuc Phuong national park.

Day 3: Cuc Phuong – Ninh Binh (~ 60 km) ( Breakfast )
In morning, visit the Primate Rescue center. Then, ride 20km through Cuc Phuong forest to the park center, tea break . Trekking in 3 hrs round trip to the Tetrameles nudiflora (Sequoia) 1,000 years tree. Transfer out of Cuc Phuong in the afternoon then ride to Ninh Binh. Overnight in mini hotel.

Day 4: Ninh Binh - Hanoi. (~ 100km) ( Breakfast )
In morning, ride to Tam Coc Cave for 3 hours boat trip in "Dry Halong bay", ride through villages, rivers, rocks to the Vietnamese ancient capital of Hoa Lu. Visit the 2 temples of the two late emperors. Get P/u, transfer to Ha Noi.A
