Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Hanoi ( Dinner )

Pick up at arrival in Noi Bai airport by our driver, transfer hotel, you will see the Long Bien Bridge on the way. Check in hotel in Hanoi. Our Customer Care Executive will meet you at the hotel at 18 00 pm for a trip briefing, answering your questions, as well as giving you some travelling tips in Vietnam.

Day 2: Thay & Tay Phuong Pagoda - Lao Cai ( Breakfast, Lunch )

08h00: departures. The journey to thay and thay phuong pagodas takes you past what could be called typical vietnamese village life. See the rice fields medieval looking villages and age old farming techniques.
The first pagoda to be visited will be thay pagoda, lying to the west of hanoi in an area rich in history. Chua thay meaning master's pagoda is dedicated to the 12th century teacher tu dao hanh. On the main altar you can see a statue of the monk. The pagoda structure speaks for itself with its serene atmosphere and beauty. With over 100 statues filling the prayer halls, two 15th century bridges and the impressive water-puppet stage it is little wonder that this pagoda is so famous.
Tay phuong lies just to the west, it offers beautiful architecture and ancient and unique sculptures. It was one of the first pagodas built in vietnam. See the dragons and demons carved into the wooden roof.
We make a stop for a picnic-lunch where you please, in the temple gardens or around the pagoda itself. Travelling south we now come to tram gian, dating from the 12th century the site offers incredible views of the surrounding countryside. Tram gian, meaning 100 rooms, was once a large temple complex and is now a popular pilgrimage site. From here we drive back to hanoi where we should arrive no later than 18 00 pm. Have a short time for rest in hanoi before get our night train to lao cai. Livitran sp7 leaves hanoi at 20:35. Arrive lao cai at 4:55.

Day 3: Sa Seng - Tavan Village ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Start early in the morning for pick up from lao cai station to sapa by private car. After breakfast, we are going by jeep about 6 km, you will trek on foot up to the mountain, you will arrive in the village of sa seng where you will have opportunity to see black ethnic minority tribe dyeing their fabric. The trek then continues towards the next village of hau chu ngai where you will be able to rest and have lunch in local village, lies n the middle of sapa valley. Ta van is surrounded by stunning scenery and has some beautiful views of rice paddy fields. Here you will stay over-night in a local house.

Day 4: Ma Tra - Ta Phin - Sapa ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

We take a ride to ta phin village and matra village of the red dzao. The red dao women have very colourful red embroideries and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of the women have shaved off their eyebrows because of a nice red dzao’ legend. Back to sapa for overnight.

Day 5: Can Cau Market - Simacai ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Start early in the morning for your drive from sapa to can cau market (4 hours). Arrive can cau market about 11 00 am. You will have 2 hours to discover the market with ethnic minorities (2hrs).
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you can have a visit to the hmong king palace or take a short walk to ban pho of the hmong people the drive to simacai village.

Day 6: Bac Ha Market ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Start early in the morning for your drive from simacai to bac ha market.
Arrive bac ha market about 10 00 am. You will have 2 hours to discover the market with ethnic minorities.
Have lunch at a local restaurant
In the afternoon, you can have a visit to the hmong king palace or take a short walk to ban pho of the hmong people.

Day 7: Bac Ha - Hoang Su Phi ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

This morning we departs for hoang su phi, the mountain area which is famous for being the most beautiful area for step-paddy fields beyond sapa. Stop a different village for sightseeing and lunch halfway en route. Arrive hoang su phi, rest of the day. O/n in hoang su phi.

Day 8: Nam Hong Village ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Hoang su phi has 4 cultural and tourism villages in nam hong, giang thuong, phin ho và lng giang. Depends on time permit, you can get a hundreds of beautiful picture.
O/n in hoang su phi.

Day 9: Tha Village - Ha Giang ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Morning departs from hoang su phi for 3 hours’ drive to ha giang town. We have lunch at arrival before we meet the beautiful cottage original village.
O/n in ha giang.

Day 10: Ha Giang - Yen Minh-Lung Cu-Dong Van ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Start at early morning, quang ba market where give you a glimpse of the culture of ethnic minorities activities. There is one more stop which also gives to you a quick visit of a beautiful village of tay minority named phuong do. This village is an example of original architecture of tay people that you cannot find anywhere. Arrive yen minh for lunch, visit vuong palace - meo king house - vuong chi sin and then lo lo minority village, trekking to flag tower on the top of lung cu mountain about 1km, view ancient valley from the top. After that we drive to dong van for overnight. O/n in dong van.

Day 11: Dong Van Town - Ma Pi Leng - Meo Vac ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Breakfast outside of hotel, visit ancient houses to take pictures. Depart for meo vac following the foot prints of ma phi leng, we have chance to view nho que river and visit a village of black h'mong people – a remote and penniless village. Arrive in meo vac, visit meo vac market and free time.

Day 12: Meo Vac Market - Bac Me ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Drive to lung phin, visit a wild and pretty market. Discover more about diversifield cultures of local people while observing their activities. Continue to bac me. Check in at hotel and relax.
O/n in bac me.

Day 13: Bac Me - Ba Be - Phu Thong ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Leave for ba be. Take a boat trip to visit babe lake, dau dang waterfall, nguom ngao grotto and pac ngoi village (home of tay people). Transfer to phu thong. O/n in phu thong.

Day 14: Phu Thong - Ban Gioc - Cao Bang ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

This morning we drive 90km drive to cao bang. En route, we are passing numerous villages of h'mong, zao, tay and nung ethnic minority people, all living in harmony. We will arrive at cao bang slightly before lunchtime and spend a little exploring this little town, and visiting the local market. After lunch we will transfer to ban gioc water fall which is the biggest water fall in viet nam and located in the boarder of viet nam – china. In this water fall you have 2 options for swimming or rent a rafting bamboo float around a bit and visit a cave in the top of the water fall where you can have some photos for souvenir. Afterward we have long drive back to hotel in cao bang town. Today is a big transfer day so you will come to the hotel very late.

Day 15: Cao Bang - Pac Po Cave - Cao Bang ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

In the morning we visit tra linh and trung khan market before strike north-west to the border, marked by a massive range of peaks, and pass over to pac po cave where ho chi minh made his return to vietnam in 1941. Then we head straight up on challenging road, pass through deep, remote karst country and rest at thang hen lake. Drive back cao bang in the afternoon.

Day 16: Cao Bang - Lang Son - Halong ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Morning drive to lang son, stop in lang son for our lunch before visting the tam thanh cave, ky lua market and then follow our way to halong.
O/n in halong.

Day 17: Halong Bay Cruise -The Princess ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

The morning is free to visit halong city and then drop in hong gai pier to depart our princess cruise. embark princess junk. Check- in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.
lunch with traditional vietnamese seafood while cruising to magnificent ha long bay. Passing indochina film studio, teapot islet, blockhouse islet, goat head islet…
15.30 – 16.00: admire cong do tranquility & different formation limestone islets.
16.30 – 18.00: kayaking & swimming at quiet cong dam area, then back to the junk for relaxing.
19.00 – 21.00: night fishing is available upon request. Have dinner and overnight on boat.

Day 18: Halong Bay Cruise ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )

06.30 – 08.00: morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.Enjoy the quiet breath- taking beauty of rocky island rising from the crystal-clear water.
08.30 – 10.00: start cruising to tra san for kayaking & swimming or relaxing on a wild beach.
11.00 – 13.30: have bbq lunch on beach or on boat.
14.00 – 16.30: continue kayaking to explore the bay. Visit mysterious thien canh cave.
17.00 – 18.00: back to the junk for cruising to cong do. Relax on board & enjoy sunset.
19.00 – 21.00: have dinner & overnight on board.

Day 19: Halong - Hanoi - Danang - Hoian ( Breakfast, Lunch )

07.30 – 08.00: enjoy fresh air & gentle breeze of the bay in morning. Have breakfast on board.
08.50 – 10.00: visit vong vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat. Meet the locals, visit floating school & fish farms. More time to swim in the middle of the bay.
10.15 – 11.30: boat starts cruising towards the harbor while a la carte lunch is served. Continue cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations.
11.45 – 12.00: check- out for the drive straight to airport to get a short flight to danang. Vn313 han 16:30 dad 17:45. Pick up at arival, transfer to hoian.

Day 20: My Son Hoian Day Trip ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Hoi an is a small town in central vietnam famous for its wooden houses, family chapels, assembly halls and for its silk shops. In the morning, take a private car from hoi an town to my son holy land, a world heritage, 50 km southwest of hoi an. Located in a lush valley, my son was a capital and religious center of cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My son, considered being in the same league as some of southeast asia's greatest archaeological sites, including angkor in cambodia, bagan in myanmar, ayutthaya in thailand and borobudur in indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries were built from the 7 to 13 centuries.
Back to hoi an for lunch. After the relax, it is light excursion to go around tiny town of hoi an for city tour: 400 years old japanese bridge, 300 years old chinese temple, 200 years old vietnamese former merchants' house. Tour ends at about 16.30 pm.

Day 21: Hoian - Danang - Hanoi ( Breakfast )

Vn310 dad 14:20 han 15:30 Pick up at arrival, transfer to hanoi. Check-in hotel and rest of the day.

Morning breakfast at hotel and meet our pick up at 7:00am, transfer to airport for flight departs at 10:25. End of our services.

Free until time for pick up and transfer to airport. End of our services.
